Rockland Sanitary District #1

The Sanitary District for the Collins area was established in 1963 and updated in 1991 and again in 2013.  There are 76 households in the sanitary district.

The large pond is 2.5 acres & 6 ft deep and holds approximately 4.5 million gallons of wastewater.  The small pond is .75 acres & 7.5 ft deep and holds approximately 950,000 gallons of wastewater.  The clean wastewater is discharged into Mud Creek per DNR approval.

 Town of Rockland Curb Side Trash and Recycling

Curb side trash and recycling pick-up is available to anyone in the Town of Rockland and is managed by the Rockland Sanitary District.  Please call Sandy Waack for cost information and to sign up.  Here is the 2024 curbside pick-up schedule:
